Bodies and Words...

“He was ugly, himself. Weird-ugly. But ugliness in a man doesn't matter, much. Ugliness in a woman is her life.”

Truly inherited...

Autoportrait avec Germaine Schroeder - Jean Reutlinger viamudwerks

If you were born and raised in Philadelphia and grew up in the 1950's especially the Northeast like around Oxford Circle you would fondly remember the truck carousel. The driver cranked a wheel to make it turn. The little horses all faced outward. there was also a truck called "The Whip" where you sat in the cars and it operated much like the Whip ride of today. We also had a man come around with a ferris wheel on his truck. What great memories everybody had - This photo is from 1910 but the truck from the 50's and 60's was pretty much the same except for the truck it's self !!!-via adam wallacavage

"If it’s true that every seven years each cell in your body dies and is replaced, then I have truly inherited my life from a dead man; and the misdeeds of those times have been forgiven, and are buried with his bones."
